the Radicata SEED Protocol

The Radicata SEED Protocol is a journey to healing your relationship with food and your body.
♥ It’s a journey I have taken myself and a journey I would love to guide and support you on.

How many of these 8 symptoms do you have?

  • I often try to ignore my hunger, diet, or restrict how much I eat

♥ What is the Radicata SEED Protocol? 

The Radicata SEED Protocol is a unique program I created to help people like you heal their relationship with food and their body. It’s the program I wish was there for me when struggling with mine. It’s exactly what I wished I had found a few years ago when I was at the start of my healing journey.


It’s a powerful combination of SCIENCE + SACRED WISDOM coming together, infused with compassionate & fierce feminine energy, whether you think you have it or not (that goes for men & women), to guide the healing process.

It’s a collection of evidence-based practices as well as a collection of approaches I learned along the way, both from working with myself and clients, blended with some ancient sacred wisdom.

It’s absolutely NOT about giving you more information.
You don’t need more information, you need transformation.

Half of this protocol is structured following the powerful and transformative Radicata SEED Curriculum while the other half is more flexible + spacious to allow us to explore and deepen more specific areas, that will be unique to your healing journey.



Let me explain the meaning of the words Radicata and SEED,
because it was not something I chose just because it sounded nice.
Although I certainly think it does! 🙂 

Radicata = ROOT.

I love the word roots and radicata comes from the Latin word for roots.

To me, it’s about getting to the true roots of your problem with food and your difficult relationship with your body. The goal is to help you break free of those unhealthy and entangled roots that are holding you back and grow new ones that are healthier, more supportive, and watered with compassion.

And the word Radicata reminds us that this process can be quite radical for many of us! 🙂

Now, let’s look at SEED. SEED stands for:

  • Supported Self-
  • Exploration of your
  • Eating behaviors and
  • Distorted body image. 

 It also refers to the story of the little seed, which is both my story but also your story (read it here).

♥ The structure of the Radicata SEED Protocol 

The protocol is built on a powerful structure showing you both the WHY + the HOW to truly nourish:

  • your mind,
  • your heart,
  • your body, and
  • your soul

… so you can finally end the war with food and your body.

This 4-part journey is very powerful.

And if you feel like you’re sick of talking and thinking about food, you might be surprised to learn that we won’t even be talking about it for more than half of the time!

The reason why we don’t need to be talking about food all the time is because the problem is not the problem. Yes, you read that right! It’s the thinking at the root of your behavior that’s the problem, so that’s why working on your mind, heart, body, and soul can bring healing without even focusing on food.

It’s almost magical! You have to experience it to believe it because I would never have thought it could be possible if I hadn’t done it and witnessed other women to the same.

The Radicata Seed Protocol creates a safe space for you. I will walk on the path that is part of your healing journey for a little while to guide you and hold your hand when you need it. You will feel heard and understood. You will no longer feel alone. You will feel supported and, little by little, with the power of the work we’ll be doing together and the concrete tools and practices I’ll be sharing with you, you’ll feel more confident and stronger to keep walking that path.

♥ Strength comes from the number four 

The Radicata SEED Protocol is all about the number four.

In all of the greatest ancient traditions of the world, four represents the number of structure, support, solidity, calmness, and roots.

We have four directions (East, South, West, and North) and four elements (Air, Water, Earth, and Fire). The year is divided into four main astronomical events: the equinoxes and solstices, giving us four seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter).  

A three-legged stool can stand on its own
but there’s nothing as stable, supportive,
and reassuring as a seat with four strong pillars.

Don’t you feel like you need some more of that? Especially support and calm?

The Radicata SEED Protocol is built on the number four.

It helps you strengthen and integrate all four key parts of your self:

  • your mind and your thoughts,
  • your heart and your emotions,
  • your body, and your physical needs,
  • your soul and your purpose & alignment.

♥ Why four months? 
☽ or four moons as I like to say! ☾☾

I love that question because I really thought long and hard about it!

In fact, a business coach suggested I should shorten my programs to only 8 weeks. The intentions were good: to ensure the women I help get better faster. Of course, why make the healing lasts 16 weeks instead of 8?

But healing your relationship with food and your body is simply not a quick process.

Believe me, I wish it was!

I feel strongly that it would actually be a disservice to let you fly on your own before you are ready, just as it would be a disservice to dig a seed that you planted just a few days ago out of the ground and expect to have something ready for you to eat.

It is different when we’re talking about digestive issues or other physical problems that we want to fix ASAP, of course. But it just doesn’t work the same way with a problem that has so many roots going deep in so many directions and all entangled together.

It’s not only about dumping information into your brain.
You don’t need more information, you need transformation. 

And it takes time to nourish and nurture your mind, heart, body, and soul back to health and it takes time to understand how to fully incorporate and integrate these new habits into your life.

Another thing to know about the Radicata SEED Protocol is that it’s based on feminine energy. There isn’t anything wrong with the masculine but most of us, including women, are suffering from an imbalance between the masculine and feminine (the yang and the yin).

Can you relate to overthinking and overdoing? If you do, then it might be part of the problem too.

The feminine doesn’t work by thinking and doing all the time.

It needs space.
It needs to slow down.
It needs to reflect & integrate.

As much as this is something that I need to constantly remind myself of and that might not sound that appealing to you right now, restoring that balance truly is where the magic and healing happens.

And this goes back to sacred wisdom coming from the yogic traditions too. You might have heard that it takes 21 days to form new habits? Well, that never worked for me! But I find that these numbers are a better reflection of how our brain works, based on both science and tradition.

  • 40 days = the time needed to break negative habits
  • 90 days = the time needed for a new habit to be created both in your conscious and subconscious mind
  • 120 days = the time needed to confirm the new habit into your psyche
  • 1,000 days = the time needed to fully master the new habit

What we’re going for here is 120 days to really confirm the new habit into your whole being.

A hundred and twenty days.
Four months.
Four moons. ☾☾

That’s where the magic of long-lasting change starts happening.
See? I didn’t randomly come up with four months? 🙂

♥ What the Radicata SEED Protocol is NOT? 

The Radicata SEED Protocol is absolutely NOT about giving up.
It is about breaking free!

I know what you might be thinking
“This sounds nice and everything but that self-love thing is just an excuse to quit”
And I thought the same too before I embarked on this journey

But this protocol is absolutely NOT about giving up
It’s about letting the little seed break free out of her shell
It’s about getting rid of the layers of dirt around her shell that are holding her back
Layers inherited from her past, imposed by societal expectations, and some from her own self too

It’s definitely NOT about giving up
Because this kind of healing is radical
It requires courage and vulnerability
A thousand times more than it takes to stay stuck in that old shell

And you might be thinking that you don’t have that kind of life force within you
But I promise that every little seed does, and so do you
It’s time to truly nurture and nourish her
So she can grow and flourish as she was meant all along

Does this really sound like giving up to you?


♥ And I’m not done! 
Here are a couple more things that the Radicata SEED Protocol is NOT.

The Radicata SEED Protocol is also NOT based on any other programs. There are many other great programs out there but I don’t follow any specific program. I don’t have anything against any of these…  but quite honestly, I am really tired of trying to fit into a box. I’ve tried so many different ones throughout my life, whether it be with my food, career, or even relationships.

My goal with the Radicata SEED Protocol was to create something completely unique. It is, in many ways, a reflection of me and my own healing journey, sprinkled with my personal and professional experience and many other nuggets of wisdom I learned along the way.

Please know that I also never want to put you in a box either. I don’t want you to feel like you have to follow specific steps and that it has to be done a certain way. NO!!! This is why so many programs don’t work and what kept me in the vicious cycle of restricting and bingeing for a few too many years.

My intention with the Radicata SEED Protocol is to hold a safe space and create a healing container for you, because guidance and support are key to break free of your difficult relationship with food and your body. However, what you decide to put into that container will be as unique as you are. I don’t believe in

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all approach,
just as I know that there is no one ideal body size for every woman!

Just a recap for those reading the bullets only. 🙂
I know, I do that sometimes too.

Here are the three things the Radicata SEED Protocol is NOT before we tackle the third one.

  1. It is not about giving up.
  2. It is not about following a rigid or set program.
  3. It is not about weight loss.

The last thing the Radicata SEED Protocol is NOT a weight loss plan. I actually give very little nutritional advice in this program. And certainly no meal plans. No weighing and measuring. No counting anything. You don’t need more information, you need transformation!

The goal is NOT weight loss. I have a Health at Every Size perspective and support my approach with the tons of science showing:

  • how diets doesn’t work (no it is NOT your fault they don’t work,
    they simply don’t! i.e. biology always wins!),
  • how our weight doesn’t tell anything about your health, and
  • how you can be healthier and happier today no matter what size your body is.

I know it might sound scary right now because you are still holding on to the last hope that you could still lose weight and live happily ever after. I completely get that and it’s okay that you still have that. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be here. 

But please be VERY suspicious of anyone that is promising weight loss. It might work short-term but biology always wins in the long-term, except for maybe 3% of the population who manages to maintain the weight loss while keeping a very distorted relationship with food and their body and living a very narrow 15-degree life instead of being able to get all 360 degrees of it.

If you need some reassurance about what will happen to your weight during the Radicata SEED Protocol, I’ll give you a heads-up.

It’s a fact that there are only three things that can happen. Yes, some people do gain weight, sometimes temporarily and sometimes for longer. Some people might lose some weight. And some people stay at the same weight. The body just does what it needs to do.

And you can be healthy and happy regardless once you implement the Radicata SEED Protocol. 🙂

And maybe one last thing I’ll throw here in case the words “soul” and “spirit” scare you.
This is absolutely NOT about religion. I respect all religions and faiths, but won’t push anything on you. We might discuss spirituality if you’re interested but the most important things to nurture and nourish your soul with the Radicata SEED Protocol is to help you cultivate a sense of purpose and alignment.

♥ Is this for me? 

This is FOR YOU IF you’re READY to heal your relationship with food and your body. I know you might not even believe it’s possible but if you have a little bit of hope left, the Radicata SEED Protocol is for you.

This is NOT for you if you have a diagnosed eating disorder like anorexia, bulimia, or binge eating disorder. This protocol is designed for those with disordered eating, not eating disorders.

This is FOR YOU IF you feel like you cannot eat normally and want to learn how to become a normal eater.

There’s a whole spectrum of disordered eating. Everyone falls somewhere on that spectrum, with some reaching the diagnosed eating disorder side and very few fitting the normal eater definition on the opposite side.

Most of us fall somewhere in the disordered eating spectrum, although this is not something I was taught in dietetic school and it’s probably another reason why I thought I was the only one dealing with this and that I was either crazy, not trying hard enough, or a complete failure. But now, you know too.

This is NOT for you if you’re happy weighing and measuring your food and your body to decide whether today is a good day or a bad day.

This is FOR YOU IF you have at least 3 of these 8 symptoms.

  • I often try to ignore my hunger, diet, or restrict how much I eat

  • I regularly eat my emotions, binge, and/or feel like a “food addict”
  • I spend hours every day thinking about food or my weight

This is NOT for you if you want a quick fix or if you’re not ready to try a different approach.

This is FOR YOU IF you are ready to commit to 1-3 hours of work on the Radicata SEED Protocol every week for a period of 4 moons (months) and are ready to finally truly invest in your self (as opposed to throwing your money on diet foods, diet shakes, diet plans, diet supplements, and diet programs that are only leaving you more malnourished in your body, heart, mind, and soul).

This is NOT for you if you are still trying to lose weight. It’s okay if you’re still holding onto a little bit of hope, but you have to be ready to accept that this is NOT the goal of the Radicata SEED Protocol.

This is FOR YOU IF you read all the self-help books but usually skip over all or most of the exercises. The Radicata SEED Protocol does include some exercises but they will be hand-picked and customized just for you and you will also get the accountability you need to keep walking forward on your healing journey.

This is NOT for you if you think it’s appropriate that society sends destructive messages to all human beings but especially women and girls, mainly:

  • using our food choices to make us feel good or bad,
  • using our appearance to make us feel insecure and never good enough,
  • and using the size of our body to measure our worth.

This is FOR YOU IF you are a mother or a father and want to set a good example for your children to protect them from having to fight the same battle with food and their body and model what it’s like to have a respectful, peaceful, and enjoyable relationship with food and their body.

And finally, this is FOR YOU IF (whether you’re a parent or not) you would like to do your part and be part of a growing movement that brings more compassion, respect, and body positivity into this world.
