Knowing what to eat VS eating that!

Do you feel like there’s a disconnect between what you know you want to eat and what you actually do eat?

Or maybe you really have no clues at all about what your body needs?

I think that there is an OVERWHELMING amount of information online and elsewhere, often contradictory, about good and bad foods. Many nutritionists give their clients lists of foods to eat or avoid. Each new diet book has their own meal plan.

I hate that! 😵

I think that the last few decades have taken the power away from us and made us believe we need all sorts of guidelines to know what today. We were also taught that we need to be careful, watch ourselves, control ourselves, fight hunger and our cravings, and label ourselves as “good” or “bad” depending on what we ate today.

I’m so sick of that! 😪

We’re taught that our body is the enemy, ready to betrays the minute we’re not watching.

This NEEDS to change!!! 😫

No one can tell you what YOU should or shouldn’t eat. Only your body knows. The only way to make this work and feel the way you want to feel is by reconnecting with your body, strengthening the trust between the two of you, and asking your body for its wise advice. 💗
