BFF Resources

Here’s a list of suggestions with my favorite BFF resources including foods, products and supplements to help you with the Bloat-Free Forever Protocol. Please note that you don’t need to choose these to be successful but using this list can help you save time and energy so you can focus on what truly matters.

  • Coconut milk: Natural Value or Aroy-D
(choose without guar gums and other thickeners in a BPA-free container)
  • Almond butter: Once Again and Artisana
(ingredients should be 100% almonds and ideally organic)
  • Grass-fed ghee
(organic to avoid toxins and grass-fed to maximize nutrient density)
  • Coconut butter  (also called coconut manna or coconut cream concentrate)
(NOT the same as coconut oil! the difference is the same as between peanut butter and peanut oil)
  • Grass-fed and pastured meat
(check your local options or order online from US Wellness Meats)
  • Unrefined salt
(I like Himalayan salt best but sea salt and Celtic sea salt are also good)
  • White rice (organic white Basmati from California, ideally Lundberg)
(do NOT choose brown rice because it is more irritating and contains anti-nutrients)

All of these are optional but they can really help better support your digestion while on the BFF protocol. Always consult your doctor before taking new supplement and read my disclaimer here.

  • Ginger tea (ideally organic; tea bags are convenient but making your own ginger tea with fresh ginger root is the most cost-effective and therapeutic option)
  • Digestive Enzymes: Thorne Research and Now Foods (these 2 contains betaine HCl which is contraindicated if already taking any kind of anti-inflammatory medication such as corticosteroids, aspirin, ibuprofen, or other NSAIDs; otherwise you can look for plant-based digestive enzymes)
  • Probiotics: Prescript-Assist
(there are so many options out there but I personally prefer soil-based probiotics like Prescript-Assist due to the variety and amount of gut-friendly bacteria it provides)

Protein powder

Protein powders are optional for the meal plan.

For Canadians, Source Organics (whey) on Amazon.ca is one of the best quality option you can get directly. Or try ordering directly from my online dispensary the beef-based Pure Paleo protein powder here.

Buying something after clicking on a link sends a few cents my way.
This does NOT cost you anything at all but is really helpful
so I can continue
putting great content out there.
Thank you for supporting my work and my mission
to improve the world one meal at a time. 🙂

Bon appétit!
